A pitched roof is one of the best solutions when looking for a permanent long lasting roof. They are effective at projecting from wind and rain, as well as being safe and solid for snowfall and downpours. They can also be effectively drained and are usually the best bet for any building project which requires anything other than a flat roof. Pitched roofs can take longer than flat roofs to complete but can last for many more years. They do cost more but they are mostly required for building regulations and planning permission in order to fit in with surrounding buildings aesthetics.
